Question by : About how much would this trip through Europe cost?
I want to start in the Netherlands followed by Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Spain and end with Portugal, then fly back to Beijing. I currently live and teach English in China. I make good money so I am not worried about it being expensive, but I have only been to England, so I have no idea how much a real trip through Europe would cost. Any experienced travelers on here that can give me a rough idea how much it would cost(transportation, hotels, food, sites, etc.)?

It of course depends on what kind of hotels and restaurants you use. Going of a tight budget will cost a minimum of $ 100/day. You could easily spend several times that. Get a guidebook that covers the places you will be.
