Question by Anali: How much money would be good amount to make to live in Czech Republic?
My husband is Czech. If my husband and I move there and I don’t work neither have to pay rent cuz his parents would provide apt. How much money he would need to make to live a good life. Meaning I would like to take trips back to my country South America. Also in the future take the kids with me to visit S. America. Anyone knows?

well the KFC and Mc.Ds are something between 100 and 300 KCZ, the bus tickets are something like 20 KCZ each, abd the beer is between 15 and 30 KCZ… 1$ is like 17 KCZ i think

15 – 20,000 Kc should do it. I’m in a similar situation… I’m Czech, living in Philippines with my wife. Every year we go to Prague (this time it’s June 2!!!) for a couple of months. Difference is that we stay in a pension, so have to spend lots.
If you want to travel back and forth like that, you have to factor in the airline cost.

My husband is american and we live in Prague. I make 45k gross and we barely make it. We pay cheap rent and we do have a car. We are going to send our kid to state school as we could not afford public. But I make more then most people do. If you have where to live then 40k can do. Obviously 80 would be better. But it depends on what your husband does. There are not many places paying that much.
it depends on your standards adn requirements.
my family total is about 50k czk per month, and its above the average here.
there are families that live out of 20k per month.
