How do you determine which village someone came in Czech?

Question by Lynn K : How do you decide which village someone came in Czech In my Grandfather’s Statement of Intent for Citizenship and Pettition states his birthplace Stvrtek Czech Slovakia. On one of his daughters birth certificate states his birthplace Trencin Region Hungary Europe. On his Social Security Card Form states his birthplace Bohemia. I was told that I need to determine what village he came before I could examine all the information about him and his family. Based on what I have, how can I determine what village he came from? You should look back on the counts and then by parish registers. You can not find where your ancestors originally came from, but you are free again ver.Anders step you can search for his birth certificate. The certificate will detail his place of birth, and his parents names, if not more.

I think I would go with Stvrtek. I’m sure GF was aware this was an “official” document and he was probably young enough to remember his home. Soc. Sec–General location, as well as possibly the B. Cert. There’s a site “CGSI” The Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International. Oddly enough, when I looked there was a query about some family in STVRTEK !!!
