Question by Wendell: How hard is the Slovak language if one knows Czech?
I’m considering studying Czech and I’m curious if Slovak will be an easier language to learn if you have knowledge of Czech.

both of them have 7 cases, so if you are a speaker of a language with 4 of them it’s considered hard for you…
the cases are:
1. Nominative
2. Genitive
3. Dative
4. Accusative
5. Locative
6. Vocative
7. Instrumental
No harder than UK vs. US English.
