The Czech language is not the type of language you usually hear during regular conversations, same as the people who use it as their mother tongue; but that is one thing that makes it unique and exotic at most.
The Czech language however is not merely about being exotic; the language itself can be proud of its etymology along with the culture and history where it is embedded. The Czech language is spoken by the people in the Czech Republic and it is one of the Balko-Slovak language family used in Eastern Europe. In fact it is highly intelligible in both written and spoken language together with Slovak language which is a concept called language diasystem. The language also has close resemblance to Polish and even Sorbian. However, its capital city Prague as well as its major cities use a different dialect.
The language has a colorful history as well. It was only used in the 8th century as years before that the language has been looked down as the language of the peasantry. In fact, originally the language had been called Bohemian. If it wasn’t for their later on declared national hero named John Huss, the language would not be elevated to a higher position, as he has given it justice.
