What makes the Czech Republic so special compared to other countries?

Question by : What makes the Czech Republic so special compared to other countries?
I was always interested in the Bohemian lifestyle and researching it, I found it has roots in the Czech Republic.

Anyone tell me anything why the CR is so amazing?

It’s your taste that makes it amazing for you.
However, as Bohemia has been a part of the Austrian kuk empire, there was a lot of cultural influence. That’s why Prague is a very culturalized city with a beautiful historic town, operas, theatres, but also much lifestyle like bar, cafes, clubs, restaurants etc… Also the Bohemian forrest are beautiful. Otherwise the rest of the CR isn’t that wonderful. As a former USSR state, it’s not that rich. But if you like the CR, think about making a middle-Europe trip with Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Northern Italy etc… I’m pretty sure you’ll like Europe!

While Bohemia, geographically, is indeed one of the present-day Czech Republic historical regions (along with Moravia and Silesia), the term “Bohemian lifestyle” originates from a somewhat incorrect, but once common, usage of “Bohemian” to refer to gypsies.

Czech republic was never a “state” of former USSR. – it never lost its autonomy, official language and alphabet as well, unlike USSR “states”
It was occupied by Russian army in 1968, but it never “belonged” to USSR federation
