How are black Americans treated in the Czech Republic?

Question by : How are black Americans treated in the Czech Republic?
I will be vising Liberec, and a few other cities, with my Czech girlfriend in about a month and I’m just curious if there is anything I should know about the treatment of blacks in that country (especially a black in a relationship with a Czech). Though I do speak Czech at a conversational level, she told me that I should do fine with English and my fluency in German.

Be ready for some stares. A lot of those people have never had a black person in front of their person.

Black people are not that unusual in the cities. You will encounter some friendly locals and some not. Just as I have found, as a white English tourist in black areas in America. You’ll be fine.
